Providing Financial Assistance for Retreats
Once a Bernardsville, New Jersey, retreat house for church groups, St. Martin’s House today is a fund that furthers the Christian retreat movement by making monetary grants to parishes and retreat centers of the Episcopal Dioceses of New Jersey and Newark.
The St. Martin’s House Fund Board of Managers meets twice yearly to review applications and make grants for the purpose of deepening the knowledge of God, encouraging spiritual growth and equipping retreat participants for the work God has called them to do.
New Jersey and Newark Diocesan parishes and retreat centers that serve those parishes can submit applications prior to the Board of Managers’ meetings in May and November.
